There is no reason why a Skier or Snowboarder cannot enjoy a trip to the Slopes, even if they have a pre-existing medical condition. This is, of course, as long as they have their Doctor's approval to travel.

Don't go on a winter sports holiday without declaring your medical conditions, as medical treatment abroad can be expensive. Even if the medical condition is unrelated to your injury or illness, it can sometimes impact any medical claim.
Even if you have mild conditions, such as Asthma, you must declare this when obtaining a quote. Being at a higher altitude can be invigorating but also cause health issues.
It is an excellent idea for your Doctor to show the quote and the Doctor to ensure you have answered the medical questions correctly. This is also important as if you make a claim, they will ask your Doctor for a medical report.
ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury)
This is a common injury from Skiing as the sport puts so much strain on the knees with the turns. This injury is more common with Women than Men as they have wider hips, and boys tend to do much more intense sports from a young age.
